Saving the data on the server is a very common practice followed by the users and a sudden data loss of the stored data can be traumatic and in that case, the data recovery is only option left to them. When you are dealing with the multiple network environments, the condition of data loss comes with much pace in the scenario.
In Windows Server 2003, there are few of the load balancing clusters which apply port rules and are referred as virtual clusters. They can be applied on multiple network application and on the same network adaptor.
But there are some of the programs, like defragmentation programs which perform their tasks before the boot process could happen, have the code to change or manipulate the volume blocks.

Whether you owe a big or a small company, if you can insure your data then this implies that you have insured your company from any kind of loss. Imagine a condition, in which your company has suffered a big economical loss just because a minor earthquake was there last night or due to some short circuit.
Has this thought terrified you? But if you have insured your data then you can overcome from any of this condition. Insuring the physical assets like the property and furniture plays a different part but if the data which you have collected and stored on your hard drive gets lost then insuring those data is comparatively more important. It’s an obvious thing that in this technical age, you store most of your business related details like the amount of money that you have to collect from your customers, on computer hard drives. And if all of a sudden, it get lost then results could be disastrous.

Future is always hidden and unseen. You can’t predict any thing beforehand and the same applies to your data. It may happen that on one day you rush to your office and turn on your computer, you are shocked to face any of the following condition:
o A strange tingling sound upon the initial booting.
o Clicking or scratchy sound from the hard drive.
o Blue or black screen
o The system refuses to boot
o You face some error message which indicates that your hard drive has failed.
A small thought of these kinds of situations can be mind shaking for most of the users, as what they think about is the data which they have stored on the hard drive. And the next the obvious notion that strikes their mind is how the data recovery can be done now .At this point of time never play a dumb game as any of the knowledge that you don’t have about the data recovery can be disastrous.

In Windows, disk Write Caching is a feature which allows the computer to give extra performance by making disk writing more efficiently. If the feature is disabled then in that case while writing to the disk, the system waits for the hard disk to access the apt position on the hard drive and then writes the data which takes a long time and hence slows down the performance.
Whereas if the feature is enabled then system sends a write request to the hard disk and the logic circuit records the data in a temporary storage area called cache. This acknowledges the OS that the writing procedure is done and the computer system performance hence boosts up.

The hard drive better known as the Hard disk or the fixed disk is a primary storage unit in a computer where all the data files are stored. It is here that the OS with all its system files are installed. For every program to be accessible to the user it needs to be installed first in the hard drive. This explains the magnanimous importance of the hard drive.
With every passing day, new innovations around the hard drives are making them feature- rich and competent but nevertheless the truth remains that they are mechanical devices and are thus liable to corruption and damage.

Computers have come to occupy a very significant part in our lives, more so as it records and preserves all the important information that we deal with in our daily transactions with people around us. The most important part of the computer that is primarily responsible for storing the voluminous amounts of data is the hard drive. It’s the minute components of the hard drive that reads the data stored on the stack of platters and makes it accessible to the software. Thus it is of prime importance to maintain the hard drive in good heath so that it can deliver optimum performance all the time, every time.
Contrary to what it appears to be, hard drive is a very fragile component whose alignment gets altered by the slightest vibration or jerk. Hard drive maintenance is very simple and does not require flowery paraphernalia, all one has to do is be a little attentive and careful while handling it as most of the hard drive crashes are not sudden, they are the result of long time discrepancies that have set in slowly into the system for a stipulated period but has pleasantly been ignored. It could happen in a number of ways. Your data can be lost for several different reasons. Malware or virus attacks can lead to the lost data and information for unfortunate computer users. Power surges are also capable of leading to data loss, specifically for computer systems that don’t contain any surge protector like UPS. And in fact, all of the computer users are the possible victims of accidental deletion of file or hard disk formatting. Luckily, even in these apparently disastrous situations, still there is a hope.
Due accurately to these annoying incidents, data recovery software have been developed comprehensively. Data recovery software might be designed for several different special cases, but they all aim to help alleviate the effects of the errors or accidents that cause the data loss.

If your computer is connected to Internet, malicious programs like viruses, spyware, malware etc. tend to cause a number of malfunctions in the operations of your computer. But what else could go wrong with your computer, on the logical, physical and mechanical side of things.
Just have a look on the few of the common problems you may encounter in your computer system:
• Hard disk failure or bad sectors happening hard drive failure. The hard drive head can’t read or write data on the disk platters because the material they are made of is physically damaged and flaking off. Stored files become corrupted or damaged, data loss and operation faults are evident.
• Operating system corruption is also the factor that has the most common occurrence and can occur at any point of time and can lead to inaccessible hard drive. In such situations you need to format the drive and the data stored on the drive will be wiped out.
• RAM memory failure that can happen if your computer has overheated of the RAM chips are of lower quality. Generally the computer would not start at because of this fault.
• Power surges in the near immediacy of your computer can blow up the fuses in the power supply of your computer.
• Computer hangs or crashes (stops responding or functioning) due to incompatible hardware or due to intermittent hardware faults. It can also hang due to corrupt registry entries of your computer operating system. Continue Reading »

RSOD or Red Screen of Death and sometimes called Red Screen of Doom is an error message which occurs in latest beta versions of Microsoft’s operating system called Windows Vista. These errors are not full screen but in fact are red bright boxes with black borders. This Red Screen of Death appears when boot loader errors occur.
All of a sudden the screen changes to red in color and reboots your computer before you can understand anything. This error can also happen in earlier file version of Windows like Windows98. This is a badder cousin of normal BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) error. The most common reason behind this error is the change in Registry settings.
